Our Nature Nut Says:

Located right in the middle of Watkins Glen village, a visit to this State Park offers a fun and friendly adventure exploring waterfalls and cascades. Though the experience is tame, the many trails through the park, especially the Gorge trail, are second to none. Hundreds of stone steps ascend and descend along the 19 waterfalls, which are accented by charming stone walkways and bridges surrounding and bypassing the creek. The camping is also friendly and those interested can enjoy the pool, showers, and picnic tables, which are all within arms reach. With its endless flow of natural and man-made beauty, its no wonder Watkins Glen is the most famous of the Finger Lakes State Parks.
