Since 1912 the Rochester Museum & Science Center in New York has been creating inspiring, entertaining and educational experiences engaging visitors in the exploration of science and technology and the natural environment. With three floors of hands-on exhibitions in science & technology, natural science, and cultural heritage, your visit to the Museum will be an unforgettable experience.

At the Adventure Zone exhibit you can explore the deep sea depths of Lake Ontario in a deep submergence vehicle. Or examine rock layers of the Genesee River as you climb the rocks.. How Things Work will spark your curiosity as you explore the mechanisms behind light switches, street lights, and thermostats. And children can play for hours with K'nex building trucks and towers.

Enjoy special exhibits such as "The Human Body", where actual human bodies are on display and "Get the Message", which explores the countless ways humans have communicated throughout history and time.

The museum also offers a slice of Rochester culture and history with exhibits such as "Rochester's Business Hall of Fame" honoring Rochester's long line of esteemed citizens. Displays on Rochester's historians, human rights activists and journalists are beautifully displayed through photographs and other historical memorabilia.

Be sure to stop by the Museum's gift shop while you're there, and feel free to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat at the Museum café. You can also enjoy the Museum's planetarium for a truly spectacular show.

Getting to the Rochester Museum & Science Center is easy: Take the I-490 Expressway and exit at Culver Road. Go north, turning left on East Ave. Continue about one mile to 657 East Ave. and turn left onto the beautiful 13 acre campus for free parking.
