Western New York

Cornell Plantations in Ithaca, NY manage over 3,000 acres of botanical gardens and arboretums threaded with trails along Beebe Lake. Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion in Canandaigua, New York, is situated on 50 perfectly-manicured acres of land. Sonnenberg Gardens feature nine formal gardens, including a Japanese Garden with a tea-house and a Moonlight Garden with evening-blooming flowers. .

South-central Ontario

The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls, Ontario is home to the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture and contains an herb garden, rock garden, vegetable garden, and arboretum.
