Pittsburgh is the home of three powerhouse professional sports teams. The Penguins hit the ice at the Mellon Arena during the NHL season. PNC Park is where the Major League Baseball's Pirates play ball. The 2005 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers huddle together every year at Heinz Field. Generally speaking, if you want to be an all-star quarterback, Pittsburgh is a pretty good place to grow-up; Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, and Johnny Unitas all developed their skills in this region. On the individual sports scene, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, and, of course, Tiger Woods, along with the rest of the world's best golfers will tee up at the Oakmont Country Club at the 2007 U.S. Open.
