Things to do / Travel Guide
The southwestern Pennsylvania region is a narrow strip of land running from the Pittsburgh metro area, southeast through McKeesport, past Uniontown and just beyond Pennsylvania's borders with Maryland and West Virginia. It's roughly 80 miles long by just 30 miles wide. Southwestern Pennsylvania includes Ohiopyle State Park and the Youghiogheny River snakes through the region, crossing the Mason-Dixon Line at the Pennsylvania-Maryland border.
To the north and east lies most of the State of Pennsylvannia, to the west lies Ohio, and a little strip of West Virginia.
