Expert White Water Rafting Review

Venture down the whitewater of the Colorado River's Westwater Canyon. Experience the 40 miles of Class III-IV rapids, a short run packed with thrills for both the novice and the experienced. This section is located in eastern Utah, west of Grand Junction, 10 miles west of the Utah Colorado border, south of I-70.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a day trip up to 2 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, oar rafts, and motorized rafts. Portage may be required.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips, and whitewater experience is recommended.

Expect to See: An environment of wilderness, and canyons.
