The sand at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is actually colored by the eroding red "Navajo Sandstone" that surrounds the area. The 10,000-15,000-year-old dunes are great for hiking, walks, or just playing in the sand. The salmon-colored dunes as well as the bright blue skies and forests here make for amazing photo ops, as well as a magnificent place to relax in nature's ultimate beauty. The Park offers a comfortable 22-site campground for those who want to spend the night here, with modern restroom and shower facilities.
