South Beach (SoBe), in Miami Beach, is one of the trendiest nightspots in the entire United States. The many dance clubs and lounges are a big draw, even for the rich, famous, and “beautiful people.” The action doesn't start until at least 11 p.m. and usually lasts until morning light. Getting “jiggy” in a party scene like the ones on South Beach, you can really understand what Will Smith sings about in his hit song “Miami.”

For a somewhat more laid-back party atmosphere, Key West is the place to be. The big party starts every day with the sunset at Mallory Square, complete with vendors and street performers. After the sun goes down, you can choose from among dozens of lounges, bars, clubs, and cafés along Duval Street. The music, food, and crowd are very diverse, so you're sure to find a place or two you'll like.

If you're in the Fort Lauderdale area, visit the Las Olas strip for lots of live music options, including jazz and blues. Here you will also find some exquisite dining establishments and many bars and lounges. Nearby is the Riverwalk development, also replete with dining and entertainment venues.
