Venture down the whitewater of the Upper Klamath River. Experience the 17 miles of Class IV-V rapids. Year round water flows make out of season whitewater almost as good as in season. Once you reach "Hell's Corner Gorge" the real excitement begins with more than 40 major rapids to satisfy even the most adventurous thrill seekers. This section is located in southern Oregon, southwest of Klamath Falls, 5 miles from Route 66.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from 1 day to 2 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts. Portage may be required.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips, and whitewater experience is recommended.
