Expert White Water Rafting Review

Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Rogue River's Recreation section. Challenge the 14 miles of Class I-II rapids. As the name suggests this section of river is for the recreational rafter. This section is located in southwest Oregon, south of Glendale, 6 miles west of I-5.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from April to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from less than half a day to 2 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, oar rafts, and inflatable kayaks. Portage may be required.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the Rogue River's Recreation section offer trips suitable for families.

Expect to See: Deer, bears, and eagles in an environment of canyons, and mountains.
