Our Tourist Attractions Expert Says:

Whether you plan on dropping a few grand shopping or just looking, Rodeo Drive is one of the major points of interest in Beverly Hills. If you are Paris Hilton and reading this, it is pretty simple. Call up the manager at Christian Dior and ask for some private shopping time. Walk out with a few shopping bags and get your picture taken and posted online. If you are most other people, you can actually enjoy a few hours on Rodeo Drive, shopping, eating and looking for celebrities (hint: look for guys with loads of cameras jumping out of cars).

The main shopping areas of Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive is really less than 3 blocks long, between Wilshire Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. Start off at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and crossing the street to Two Rodeo, a quaint group of upscale restaurants and boutiques surrounding cobblestoned Via Rodeo.

Cross Dayton Way to get started on your Rodeo Drive shopping experience. Look for the gleaming gems of Harry Winston if you are having trouble getting your bearings. Head down Rodeo Drive, past Bijan (which sells by appointment only) crossing Brighton Way towards Santa Monica Blvd. When you have hit Juicy Couture and Brooks Brothers (you pick which is for you), your tour is over. Take a break from the shopping and enjoy some people-watching from a sidewalk table at Café Rodeo.

Besides being one of the main Bevery Hills places of interest for tourists and movie stars, the drive is a popular filming location. You may recognize some of the scenes from Pretty Woman, where Julia Roberts shops, financed by Richard Gere. Other movies filmed here include Beverly Hills Cop, American Gigolo and Shampoo.
