Our Theme Park Expert Says:
The Wave Water park got its name from the Flow-Rider, a constant simulated wave. The park also has more than a few slides that are over 35 feet - some require an inner tube, some you fly down in the dark. For the younger ones in your group, head over to Rippity's Rainforest, there's a four-story maze to get lost in as well as an obstacle course. This park, located midway between San Diego and Los Angeles, is a great place for a mid-afternoon cool down.
Open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. $$ (Moderately Priced)
The Wave Water park is pleased to be your family aquatic park for more than 10 years! Owned and operated by the City of Vista, The Wave is the only facility of its kind in San Diego County. Whether you enjoy the challenge of the Flowrider, splashing in the children's activity area, the thrill of water slides, or just relaxing on a tube, the Wave has something for you!
