Our Sports Superfan Says:
The USC Trojans are one of college football's most celebrated teams. Commonly top contenders for a national college football championship, the Trojans are one of the true powerhouses of the Pac-10.
Some of the team's more recent successes include Rose Bowl wins and Pac-10 Coach of the Year honors for Head Coach Pete Carroll. Moreover, many a Heisman Trophy winner has proudly worn USC's colors, the most recent ones being Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush, and over 140 All Americans have graduated from the Trojan program. As if the team's record and history weren't overwhelming enough, USC plays their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, one of the most imposing structures in all of college football.
As exciting and riveting as all Trojan games are, two of the most thrilling games each year are USC's annual grudge match against cross-town rivals UCLA, and their home-and-home series against non-conference rival Notre Dame.
And of course since we're talking about Los Angeles, you can often spot celebrities at Trojan games, including Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, and others; indeed, plenty of action on and off the gridiron.
