Our Shopping Expert Says:

Welcome to what is generally considered the most luxurious shopping mall in America. Only 40 miles outside of Hollywood, you can join the rich and famous as you shop and dine amongst its many exclusive stores and restaurants. The South Coast Plaza, located in Costa Mesa, is a combination of indoor and outdoor settings covering an area of 128 acres in total; one of America's largest shopping areas. With 280 shops, more than 30 eateries and nine different departments stores (Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Sax Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's), the mall is a small city on its own.

The complex includes two separate enclosed malls and a number of outdoor shopping areas shopping as well. Whether you are looking for something for a day at the beach or a night at the Oscars this mall offers it all. From "regular" mall shops to luxurious boutiques, this unique blend of stores creates an atmosphere only found near Hollywood.

Where else can you find a golf-themed celebrity owned restaurant, or the first Planet Hollywood restaurant, owned by Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore? Only six miles south (and two miles east) of Disneyland, this is one of the biggest attractions in Orange County. The Mall is located close to the junction of three different freeways: the San Diego Freeway (405), the Corona Del Mar Freeway (73), and the Costa Mesa Freeway (55). The South Coast Plaza Express Transport Shuttle offers transportation from Disneyland and the surrounding hotels.
