Peruse contemporary works mixed with ancient themes and diverse mediums and styles! Study art or enjoy live music and drinks among modern masterpieces!
Among the trendy shops and restaurants that line Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana, lies the Orlando Gallery, a spacious museum featuring stunning Roman architecture and a breathtaking center atrium and skylight, with windows offering wonderful views of Loch Haven Park, which surrounds the property.
The Orlando Gallery is located in the San Fernando Valley, and the art here is an eclectic mix of works by Californian artists, most of them from Southern California. The museum's main gallery hosts many traveling exhibits that include works from Russia, China and Central America, and is filled with themes of ancient and present civilizations and cultures.
The Orlando Gallery houses art, sculpture and photography of artists such as Patti Akesson, Stephan Alessandri and Angelina Arcuri, and much of the collection emphasizes modern pieces, many of which come from New York. Some works dazzle with traditional beauty, while others boggle the mind with bold statements. Visitors can study art at the museum in its classroom areas or attend one of its many day and nighttime lectures. Several times a month, the museum turns into a happening nightclub of sorts, with a live band, a cash bar and a spotlight on local artists.
The Orlando Gallery is located at 18376 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana.
