Our Museum Expert Says:

Welcome to KidSpace, an innovative children's museum whose design and exhibits truly reflect the creative minds of children. KidSpace, in sunny Pasadena, California, utilizes the philosophy that play is necessary for the cognitive and moral development of children. That being said, visitors will see in every exhibit in KidSpace this attitude put into practice in exciting, interactive ways!

Award-winning exhibits include the Digging Deeper Gallery where kids can dig for plant and animal fossils and learn about the anatomy and feeding habits of insects. In the Shake Zone, kids are introduced to the hectic life of the rumblings of the Earth, particularly those of Southern California. In addition to the hands-on indoor exhibits, KidSpace invites guests to learn and play in the great outdoors. Enjoy a performance in the Stone Hallow Amphitheater or ride around through the Wisteria Gardens. Cool off in the Water Play area (bring a change of clothes!) and then climb to your hearts content on spider webs, rocks, and rootwad! Need to refuel? Stop by the Nestle Café for some tasty treats before heading back out to the exhibits.

Admission is under $10 a person, and if you come on the first Tuesday of the month, you can participate in Free Family Night! Note: Since KidSpace is located right next to the Rose Bowl, the center will be closed on Saturdays in the Fall when the UCLA football team is playing next door.

KidSpace is best suited for kids ages 2-10. While you're here, start organizing your kid's next birthday party with KidSpace—it's a great, educational, fun way to start your child's next big year ahead!
