Enjoy the unique, state-of-the-art museum of natural history, inspired by the stories of the Bible.

The ICR Museum attempts to explain the creation of earth and man through the stories of the Bible, and its collection is devoted to providing believers with real life evidence.

Exhibits here include an interpreted walk through the Garden of Eden, with descriptions of what happened on each of the six days in the Genesis accounts of creation, and a dark room with pictures of the planets and stars discussing the view of modern astronomy and areas where ICR has a different view. Families will enjoy scale models of Noah's Ark and the Tower of Babel, and watching the story of creation in a 180-seat special-effects theater.

The museum is free and easy to get to; from San Diego, take Highway 8 East to 67 North Exit on Riverford Road and turn left at the first signal. Turn left at the next signal and go under an overpass. Turn left again at the next street, which is Woodside Avenue N. The ICR Museum is approximately one mile down on the right hand side.

Museum.History='The Institute for Creation Research was first established in 1970 and reorganized with its present name in 1972 to meet the need for an organization devoted to research, publication, and teaching in those fields of science particularly relevant to the study of origins. It was originally formed as the research division of Christian Heritage College (also established in 1970, but became separate and autonomous in 1981).
