The Valley View Casino Resort is centrally located in Valley Center in the shadow of the Palomar Mountain Range, about an hour drive from San Diego and two hours from Los Angeles. But, don't be misled by mention of the place as San Diego's casino. The casino, is in fact, in San Diego county but not in the city. Other casinos are closer to the actual city.
Valley View claims to have the only certified loose slots in the area, which is certainly nice to hear 0 even though we are not quite sure what that means. If that means you are going to win more, give it a shot. Besides the slots, there are 26 table games, including blackjack, roulette, poker and baccarat. As far as dining, you have the huge buffet, the Black and Blue steakhouse, Asian food and more. After dinner enjoy live music at the Main Stage Bar.
Do not confuse this with the Valley View Casino Center, which is a sports and entertainment facility in San Diego. Kind of like the casino wanted people to get lost and end up at a Taylor Swift concert instead of playing poker. Search engines, like Google, sometimes confuse the two. If you are looking for the casino – head north on I-15 to Escondido and then head east to Valley Center. The casino provides free transportation from several Southern California locations. Valley View Casino is affiliated with the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians. The casino is open 24/7, as are some of the restaurants.
