Welcome to one of the western most point of Malibu at Westward Beach! Here you'll find a wide sandy beach and huge waves against the gorgeous Malibu landscape of cliffs and mountains.
Westward Beach is great for beach bums of all ages and you'll see people relaxing in the sun from early morning until dark. With beautiful weather, beautiful landscape, and of course, beautiful people, why wouldn't you want to stay all day? The waves at Westward Beach are large with high impact, so weak swimmers and children may want to skip the water at this beach. If you do choose to brave the waves, then you'll have a great time surfing and bodysurfing these powerful waves – just be careful of those strong shore breaks! If staying sand-side is more your style, then you'll be satisfied building sandcastles, playing volleyball, and soaking up the sun. There are also flush toilets and shower facilities at the north end of Westward Beach Road.
And Westward Beach offers a rare treat in the Malibu beach scene – free parking! And it's so treasured that Westward Beach is often referred to as "Free Zuma" (Westward Beach is technically a part of its neighbor, Zuma Beach.
Westward Beach is located between Zuma Beach and Point Dume State Beach at 30000 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
