One of the favorite pastimes of visitors to L.A. is spending the day driving around filming locations, where scenes for popular movies and TV shows have been shot. Other visitors choose to buy a map of the stars' homes and take a drive through the posh neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and Bel Air in search of Brad Pitt or Winona Ryder.
Carlsbad State Beach, located north of San Diego between Oceanside and Encinitas, is a great place for outdoor recreational activities. The narrow beach is a fantastic location for water activities such as surfing and swimming, as well as inline skating and jogging along the adjacent flat promenade, which stretches for six city blocks.
