It's always a great time to visit southern California. With excellent weather all year round, tourists flock to the region and its major attractions regardless of the season. Generally, however, southern California is less crowded during the winter months.
Price wise, there is no rhyme or reason why a trip to the Golden State is expensive one month and then cheaper the next. As there is no “norm” or set of rules, the price of a trip to southern California can fluctuate with regularity. In a vague, general sense, it is pretty safe to assume that when the weather is nice and warm in southern California, or if there's a major convention in town, the price goes up.
