Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Verde River and challenge the 60 miles of Class II-III rapids. This section is located in central Arizona, 4 miles south west of Camp Verde, 2 miles south of E Hwy 260.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from January to April, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a day trip up to 5 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, oar rafts, and inflatable kayaks.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the Verde River offer trips suitable for families.
Expect to See: Deer and eagles in an environment of desert, and mountains.
