Tucson's first enclosed shopping mall, El Con Mall, is still up and running. This one story mall is mostly vacant except for a few stores (like Radio Shack and Champs Sports) as well as the malls' anchors Home Depot, JCPenney, Macy's, Target and a huge 20 screen movie theater. El Con Mall is in the middle of redeveloping, to make this mall alive again and it will hopefully get itself back on track soon so that you can enjoy more than just its current small collection—which is still enough for a day's worth of shopping by itself!
You can also grab a bite to eat at Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill and Claim Jumper Restaurant. For dessert you can have some delicious Krispy Kreme donuts! Make sure you check out El Con Mall's website to find out when some new exciting stores will be opening—it could be today!
