Today, the Museum boasts exciting exhibits such as "Waterworks in the Compass Court," an interactive water play exhibit, and "Many Hands Make A Home," a new permanent exhibition that looks at the process of creating a house, start to finish. This last exhibit includes an exploration of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, design, and project management. In addition to the fascinating exhibits, visitors are welcome to see shows in both the Dorrance Planetarium and the new five-story giant screen IMAX Theater. Special educational programs and science activities are available for children as well, including summer science camp, Stroller Science, and the Science on Wheels outreach program.
