Our Museum Expert Says:

Come spend an afternoon interacting with art! Dedicated to kids, this fine arts museum lets kids and their families experiment with, and experience art like no where else!

The Arizona Museum for Youth is a great place to introduce the family to art. The Museum hosts changing exhibits each year, as well as with ArtVille and art classes. Housed in a refurbished grocery store, the museum is filled with cool exhibits such as Artville - a kid-sized town - and the whole family will enjoy the interactive displays such as in the What on Earth? exhibit. In addition, the museum hosts art classes and programs such as Messy Creations and Tots Create Toys. Be sure to set aside one and a half to two hours for your visit here, and arrive in comfy clothes to maximize your fun.

Should you get hungry there are several nearby restaurants. To get here, take Highway 101, south to the 202 Red Mountain exchange, or Highway 202 Red Mountain east toward Mesa. Exit at the Country Club exit and turn right. Take Country Club several miles to Main Street; turn left on Main Street; turn left again on Robson and then right on Pepper Place. The Arizona Museum for Youth is on the corner of Robson and Pepper Place.
