The semi-private Ventana golf course alternates daily availability of this course and its sister (the Canyon) between the private use of its members and general use of the public. Even days are Mountain days. Odd days head to the Canyon. As you would expect, the Mountain Course contains many elevation changes. The desert comes into play a lot and accuracy is key. Tough course.
