Mia and Chelsea Orangutan are proud to announce the birth of their son, Bob Orangutan.. Bob entered the world weighing about 3-1/2 pounds. The Orangutans will be on display, weather permitting. There are alsop many native-born South Carolina reptiles and amphibians on display, including the black rat snake, the ground skink, and the Southern cricket frog. Other animals you'll see at the 14-acre zoo include elephants, farm animals, lions, and ducks.

From Greenville Zoo - South Carolina:
The Greenville Zoo is located on a 14-acre site within Cleveland Park. A typical visit would last from an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Adjacent to the zoo are two playgrounds for youngsters and several picnic facilities.
