Step into the prehistoric past, where dinosaurs were the only creatures that roamed the earth. Dinosaur Land is both a reminder of Roadside America and a spectacular land before time that kids and adults will both enjoy. For more than 40 years, Dinosaur Land has featured over 50 dinosaurs that allow guests to get up close and personal with the likes of Giganotosaurus, Megalosaurus and T-Tex, along with the lesser-known sauropiods, and armored and duckbill dinosaurs. There are 35 exhibits mixing traditional dinosaurs with beasts like the nutty giant octopus, the praying mantis, and a 60-foot-long shark. Of course, no journey to Dinosaur Land is complete until you've spent a moment with King Kong. Parents will be happy to see the descriptions about many lesser-known creatures such as a Diatryma to the more popular Mammoth and Sabre Tooth Tiger. Exhibits such as the depiction of the "Epic battle" between the meat-eating Tyrannosaurus and the herbivorous Titanosaurus will please natural history lovers and dinosaur-loving kiddos alike. Best of all, the park plans on adding 10 more models soon, so there's reason to come back to visit again at Dinosaur Land!
