Welcome to Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville in Buckingham County, Virginia where you will join other people from diverse backgrounds in the quest for peace, balance, health, and spiritual well-being. All based on the teachings of Integral Yoga®, all workshops and sessions are focused on realizing harmony and spiritual unity amongst all peoples and elements of the universe. At Yogaville, you'll join teachers from around the world in studying and sharing the teachings of His Holiness Sri Swami Satchidananda.
At Yogaville's Ashram and Retreat Center, beginners and experienced yogis from all paths will join together in the practice of Integral Yoga. Workshops are offered on the introductory level as well as more advanced courses that lead participants towards teaching certification. Explore different aspects of yoga with Laughing Yoga, Ayurveda, and Chanting. There are also meditation workshops and sessions to enhance personal awareness and development.
Further explore spiritual well-being with one of the Ashram's Silent Retreats or stay for a while as a volunteer. Stay for a day or longer and enjoy three vegetarian meals, group meditations, Hatha Yoga classes, and tour the Interfaith Shrine and the LOTUS (Light Of Truth Universal Shrine). Listen to guest speakers, go for a hike, and absorb all of the love, joy, and light that Yogaville has to offer!
