The oldest course in North Carolina is built on rolling hills, so uneven lies are common. Narrow, sloped fairways are also common. Bunkers and streams come into play throughout the course. A tough course, but can be beaten.

The Golf Course at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa continues to earn accolades after a complete restoration of its original Donald Ross design in 2001. In 2005, The Golf Course was rated 32nd best in the state by the North Carolina magazine golf panel.
