Our Zoo and Aquarium Expert Says:

Two white tiger brothers, named Rex and Zulu (in honor of Mardi Gras royalty) weigh in at a hefty 380 pounds each and are some of the star attractions at the Zoo. Exhibits like Shell's Wildlife on Stage amphitheater, Discovery Walk, and the Embraceable Zoo provide hands-on encounters with a variety of wildlife and domestic animals. The innovative Jaguar Jungle exhibit brings together the animals, people, environment, and culture of the Mayan civilization in a jungle rainforest setting. Around every corner are Jabiru storks, spider monkeys, scarlet ibis, a sloth, and the most sacred animals in Mayan lore, jaguars.

Especially for kids: Petting Zoo. Stroller rentals available.
