Our Golf Guru Says:

Rated the 2nd "Best New Public Course" in America for 1995 by Golf Digest, which also gave it the nickname "Evil Mistress of the Gulf". There's lots of sound and water on this links-style course that is playable by all levels provided the wind isn't acting up..

From Kiva Dunes:

Jerry Pate's design integrity is such that he believes his first allegiance is to the land. And the first thing you sense when you step onto the Kiva Dunes Golf Club is how seamlessly the golf course fits the land. Towering dunes full of indigenous shrubs and small gnarled oak trees, beaten down below ten feet in height with twisted branches that have endured the torrential winds of the sea, buffer the holes, providing both shelter and hazard. The topography of the golf course matches that of the surrounding area, with every tree, every hazard, every green, and every mound fitting the landscape as if were designed by earth's original developer.
