This unique and beautiful course designed by 2001 PGA Champions David Toms. He moved heaps of earth to create elevation changes not normally seen in this area. Furry rough rings all 86 bunkers (Toms calls these things "mustaches," you might have another name for them). Your round will take you through and enchanting forest of pine, oak, cypress, and gum trees. Novices take note: while no machettee is needed, your ball will have a tough time finding the hole. Carter Plantation is a member of the Louisiana Audubon Golf Trail.
