Our Beach Bum Says:

Orange Beach includes many of the Alabama Gulf Coast beaches, and with it's variety of terrain, endless list of activities, and fantastic dining and nightlife options, visitors are sure to keep coming back—if they can even bring themselves to leave in the first place!

Doze off in the dunes of Florida Point, or people watch in the busy Cotton Bayou. Go surf fishing at Gulf State Park or go water skiing in majestic Lake Shelby. Hit the bars or start up a game of volleyball at the Gulf Shores Public Beach or go for a hike through the enchanted forests of Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge Beach. Moms, dads, kids, and single-folk alike will find something special to suit their fancy—the busy, the quiet, the rugged, the serene—Orange Beach has got it covered!

Even history buffs will find their niche with the Mobile Bay Civil War Trail, which stretches 90 miles from the Gulf of Mexico to Mobile County and explores life during the Battle of the Bay and the Overland Campaign. And everyone will enjoy the Orange Beach cruise that takes beach bums a bit off their regular turf into the clear blue waters to visit with the neighborly dolphins along the Alabama coast. And don't worry—as soon as you're done you can get right back to the snooze in the sun! Most of the beaches have parking and restroom/shower facilities, but check each specific beach before venturing out. Many of the beaches also require paid admission, generally around $5-$10. Enjoy your fun in the sun at Orange Beach!
