Take a train through a glass tunnel built inside of a shark tank where the inhabitants watch you with dinner on their minds. Enter the sunken hull of a 17th century Spanish shipwreck and observe those who live on the ocean floor, including a giant pacific octopus, wolf eel, and living coral reef. While touring the marsh and bayous of the of the Gulf Coast you'll encounter alligators, snapping turtles, and bull frogs. See rare white tigers and play with the creatures in the Touch Tanks. Explore the lush environment of the world's tropical rainforests and the life inside their rivers where you'll see red-bellied piranhas and venomous freshwater stingrays. And to keep your blood moving, the Aquarium features an emerald tree boa, poison dart frogs, and beautiful birds all around. All this and more, including great restaurants, await you at the Houston Aquarium.
