Our Show & Concert Fan Says:

It's time to get wickedly entertained with the Majestic Theatre's presentation of Wicked! You'll enter the not-so-well-known parts of Oz, including its boarding school ("dear old Shiz"), the local hangout ("the Ozdust Ballroom"), and the home of the Wizard. You'll meet Elphaba (a.k.a. the Wicked Witch) and Glinda (a.k.a the Good Witch) and all their friends and enemies who helped them acquire their respective titles. Most importantly though, through exceptional music, lyrics, choreography, and theatrical performances, you'll learn the true story of Oz, the way it was before Dorothy got there. Consider Wicked your ticket to insider Ozian information!

Wicked is a smash hit that first hit Broadway in 2003 and then continued on to become the international success that it still is today. It has won many awards including the Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Lyrics.

You will absolutely love Wicked. You'll fall in love with the music, the characters, and the story and you'll want to see it over and over and over again! Wicked is currently being performed at the Majestic Theatre.

Enter the Majestic Theatre and you'll enter a world of ornate beauty, elaborate architecture, and rich theatrical history – in a word, it's majestic. The theater is located in the heart of San Antonio and stands out for it's size and palace-like grandeur. When it was built, in 1929, it stood as the largest theater in Texas and the second largest movie theater in the country.

The outside of the theater is beautiful, the inside, is magical. Some of the ornamentation that sets this atmospheric theater in a league of its own includes the stained glass window, the white peacock perches on the balcony, the creeping grape vines, a star-dusted ceiling with clouds, and elaborate architecture, built in Spanish Mission, Baroque, and Mediterranean styles that are reminiscent of a mystical village.

Majestic Theatre is located at 224 E. Houston Street in San Antonio, Texas. Showtimes are Mondays through Saturdays at 8:00pm with additional shows on Sundays at 2:00pm, 6:30pm, and 7:30pm and Saturdays at 2:00pm.
