Founded with the goal of telling visitors the story of space in an exciting and realistic manner, the Space Center in Houston achieves and exceeds that goal. The fantastic exhibits include the Blast Off Theater, where visitors can experience the thrill of launching into space like a real astronaut, and the Space Center Theater, which shows the evolution of space equipment and the training of the men and women who dream of becoming astronauts. Inside Kids Space Place, guests can explore and experiment commanding the space shuttle or living on the space station.
