Expert White Water Rafting Review

Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Sheridan River. Challenge the 6 miles of Class II-III rapids. Be ready to hike into the put-in point. This section is located in south-central Alaska, east of Anchorage, 2 miles from Copper River Hwy.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from Late May to mid September, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts. Portage may be required.

Useful Tips: A guide may be required.

Expect to See: An environment of wilderness, and mountains and giant blue icebergs.
