Experience the whitewater of the Upper Cherry Creek. Shoot the 9 miles of Class IV-V+ rapids, a nearly continuous extreme whitewater adventure - one of the most challenging in the US. Previous Class IV experience highly recommended. This section is located in central California, 4 miles west of Yosemite National Park.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from April to July, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and paddle/oar rafts. Portage may be required.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips, and whitewater experience is recommended.
