Reno, Nevada Romantic Getaways
By definition, Reno is focused on adults and most hotels have romantic packages and rooms.
But for a unique historic and romantic experience, stay at the Cal Neva Resort, a few feet over the Nevada stateline. The views from the hotel rooms have been described as the best on the lake and if that's not exciting enough, reflect on the show business greats who frequented the CalNeva, and whose spirits may still be around. Frank Sinatra owned the CalNeva, Marilyn Monroe had her own cabin and Sammy David Jr., Judy Garland and JFK visited often. The secret tunnel used by VIP's to move around still exists. Yosemite National Park Romantic Vacation
The two key points to enjoy a romantic vacation in Yosemite. First, get away from the crowds. You will discover that the crowds disappear as you head into the backcountry, and there are certainly lots of backcountry trails to choose from. Second, find a cozy hotel that suits your budget.
The Ahwahnee Hotel, would probably be the first choice, but with prices about $300 a night you may want to consider other options, especially outside the park at Yosemite West. Among the bed and breakfast's in West Yosemite, the Yosemite Peregrine seems best suited to romantic couples.

Incline Village is home to fine dining, upscale shops and galleries and romantic accommodations. And of course, view of the cobalt-blue Lake Tahoe.
Nearby Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort has romantic packages and separate adult areas. The resort at Squaw Creek caters to romantic couples on their Lake Tahoe getaway with in-room fireplaces, spa treatments, fine dining, and, of course, great skiing.
