Venture down the whitewater of the North Umpqua River. Experience the 30 miles of Class II-III+ rapids, steep, exciting, but not exceedingly technical. This section is located in southern Oregon, north of Roseburg, 1 mile from I-5.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a day trip up to 3 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, oar rafts, and inflatable kayaks. Portage may be required.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips.
Expect to See: An environment of wilderness, and mountains.
