Expert White Water Rafting Review

Experience the whitewater of the Clackamas River. Shoot the 12.5 miles of Class III-IV (Spring); Class III (Summer) rapids, wild beautiful scenery and adrenaline pumping action. This section is located in western Oregon, east of Portland, on E Hwy 224.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from March to July, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a half day to a full day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, and whitewater experience is recommended. Outfitters on the Clackamas River offer trips suitable for families.

Expect to See: Elk, pine martins, osprey, and bald eagles in an environment of wilderness, and mountains.
