The Oregon Cascades and Willamette Valley region is known for its awesome beauty, volcanic mountains and dense forests. Often, visitors will rent or drive their own RVs or motor homes through the scenic roads that traverse the region, which affords them the best opportunity to appreciate its natural beauty. Factory Tours in the Portland Area

East of Portland, in the town of Hood River, you can sample some great beer at the Full Sail Brewing Company.

Two large motor home manufacturing factories are located near Eugene. The larger of the two, the Monaco Coach Corporation, operates a 2.5 million-square foot facility where you can see the production of the chassis and other auto parts up close. Similar in many aspects, Country Coach has approximately 450,000 square feet of floor space to tour.
