Our Theme Park Expert Says:
Explore Hawaii's most popular cultural attraction. The 42-acre Polynesian Cultural Center showcases 7 different Polynesian regions: Fiji, Hawai'i, the Marquesas, New Zealand, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga. Visitors are invited to experience first-hand all of the fun Hawaiian culture has to offer. The Polynesian Cultural Center has frequent crafts demonstrations, musical performances, games and more. The famous Canoe Pageant reenacts the myths and legends of Polynesia through song and dance, all atop floating canoes. The adventurers will love the annual World Fire Knife Dance Competition, in which contestants display their skills with blazing swords which never fail to intrigue and satisfy visitors of all ages. The center is also home to the World's largest Polynesian light show along with the award-winning "Horizons: Where the Sea Meets the Sky", the largest performance of its kind in the world. And to top off your Hawaiian cultural experience, don't miss the opportunity to ride a canoe across the lagoon from one end of the Polynesian Cultural Center to the other.
