Our Ski Specialist Says:

Mission Ridge is known for its 2000 acres of terrain and its never-ending sun. With an average of 25 days of sunshine a month, everyone is sure to be in good spirits on the mountain. Located on the eastern slopes of the northern Cascades, Mission Ridge is all about powder. Its dry climate and low temperatures lead to longer lasting, fluffier snow. And if Mother Nature is just not providing, Mission Ridge's recently upgraded snowmaking equipment is at the ready to help her along.

Mission Ridge is a great Washington resort for more experienced skiers and riders. The majority of the mountain's 36 runs are cruising terrain built for intermediate level skiers. Advanced skiers can enjoy moguls, chutes, trees, bowls, and a variety of steeps to choose from. The advanced level is further served by the 2,270 foot vertical drop on the mountain. Despite the focus on more advanced skiers, beginners can still find a niche on the mountain and there are six lifts to get you to your corner. Boarders are allowed to roam free on the entire mountain, and a new terrain park provides additional entertainment for those looking to try out some air.

Weather permitting, the mountain opens in December and its season runs until April. The slopes are open from Thursday to Monday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. As you'll find yourself staring at an empty and locked ski hill. Night skiing is available at the site but only on Saturday nights, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

If you're looking for an adventure off your skis or board, then check out the nearby tubing which will surely get your adrenaline running while keeping you off your feet. The mountain also runs a series of racing skill workshops, and lessons for those interested in sharpening their carving skills. For a slower paced sport, make sure to try out the region's scenic snowshoeing trails. Finally, check out the resort's events calendar where a variety of happenings await you including the Mountain Music Festival, the FT Rail Jam, and the Hog Loppet.

The resort has a full service Rossignol Tech Center that provides rental, tune-ups, and repair services. A choice of seasonal gear is available for purchase at the retail center. A kids club, as well as childcare services, is available. A variety of eateries are available on the mountain, featuring the classics as well as a wider selection of unexpected dishes.

If you're looking for a wider variety of dining options, make sure to check out nearby Wenatchee just 12 miles away, where one can find everything from Italian to all American food. Also available in Wenatchee are a variety of hotels which offer stay and play packages in conjunction with the resort.
