Some highlights include the Yao Japanese Garden, the Alpine Rock Garden, and the Waterwise Garden. The Yao Garden combines native Northwest species with those from Japan in a stroll garden. The Lost Meadow Trail, near the Yao Garden goes deep into the woods. The Alpine Rock Garden exhibits plants normally seen at high elevations. The Bellevue Botanical Gardens are open every day from dawn to dusk and entrance is free
