Our Beach Bum Says:

Beach bums and nature lovers alike will love exploring the Camano Island State Park Beach! It's one of those beaches where you'll have no trouble finding enough to keep you busy all day…or all week, at that!

The scenic Washington shores are jam packed with activity. From fishing to swimming, to just walking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery, visitors to Camano Island State Park Beach will have the option of being as active or inactive as they choose. Sunbathers can chill out on the beach for hours (during the summer, at least) and active hikers will have miles and miles of trails at their disposal. In fact, there's the Camano Island State Park Beach Trail that brings eager walkers a two mile paradise in which to view beautiful plantlife, birds galore, and even glimpses of the great North American wildlife that lurks in the shadows of Washington State. Camano Island has for hundreds of years been a hotspot for scientific and natural exploration, and now you too can become a part of the explorative legacy!

The area comes fully equipped with bathrooms, water, phone, a campground, and cabins. There are even free nature talks at the campground amphitheater on Saturday nights.

Camano Island State Park Beach is located on Camano Island in the Puget Sound, about 30 miles north of Seattle.
