Venture down the whitewater of the Dinosaur section of the Green River. Experience the 45 miles of Class II-III+ rapids, passing through Lodore, Whirlpool, and Split Mountain Canyons. This section, Dinosaur National Monument, passes through Dinosaur National Monument and is located in northwest Colorado, northern tip of Dinosaur National Monument, on Co Hwy 34.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from 3 days to 5 days. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, oar rafts, kayaks, and inflatable kayaks.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional. Outfitters on the Dinosaur section of the Green River offer trips suitable for families.

Expect to See: Bighorn sheep, and mule deer in an environment of wilderness, canyons, and mountains.
