Our Spa Expert Says:

At the Spa at Sundance at the Sundance Resort in Provo, Utah, guests will immediately be ushered into an environment of Hocoka—a Sioux concept embodying the importance and sacredness of the proper environment for the healing of the body and soul. And it's not just in the air where the Native American spirit is felt; Native American traditions are infused in spa treatments and massages to provide guests with the ultimate relaxation, rejuvenation, and balance. And what better place to do that than in the tranquil Utah mountains?

You can't go wrong with any of the choices on the Spa Menu at the Spa at Sundance. Each spa treatment provides a thoughtful approach to providing guests with exactly what they need to achieve balance and relaxation. The Sundance Stone Massage uses a combination of human touch with natural stone therapy alongside the Native American principles of the Four Directions. Another grounding massage that relaxes while channeling energy through the body is the Turtle (Tsisteel Balancing Treatment, which uses healing through breathing methods to honor the great turtle of Navajo legends. Other body treatments also tap into the natural world, bringing all your senses to a place that is not quite in this world, and yet so wholly connected with this world that full presence of mind and spirit are achieved. The Sage & Sweet Grass Ritual is such a treatment—truly experience your environment with a Salt Lake Mud wrap, sage, an energetic healing herb, and braided sweet grass, which is understood to have powers of blessing and wisdom. The Mountain Spirit Stone Facial is another great way to get in touch with both human contact and the natural world simultaneously, while also improving skin tone and balancing and renewing cell energy in the face.

Nobody is left out of the spa experience at the Sundance Resort & Spa, which is why the spa menu includes a kid's menu, including treatments like Little Hand Repair, Bright Cheeks Mini Facial, and the Just Right Massage. Special treatments are also available for moms-to-be and men, so make sure you bring the whole family to enjoy this one-of-a-kind holistic spa experience.
