Our Ski Specialist Says:

Beaver Mountain is Utah's northern most ski resort, and the temperatures certainly reflect it. But this small, family-oriented ski area makes even the coldest winter ski days feel warm. Serving up a heaping dose of hospitality and friendliness, the staff and slopes at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort will have you feeling right at home. Beaver Mountain emphasizes personal attention and service, leaving the glitz and frills to other area resorts. The ski area is located at the top of Logan Canyon in the spectacular Wasatch-Cache National Forest. There is a variety of terrain and well-maintained runs, and while most lodging can be found about 30 miles west of the resort in the town of Logan, nearby Beaver Creek Lodge provides a very reasonable and convenient option as well.

Intermediate runs dominate the terrain, with steep Lue's run and Harry Hollow's run serving as an attractive option for bump skiers and snowboarders. Terrain ranges from gentle greenbacks to challenging double black diamond trails. Three double chairlifts and a triple chairlift serve the 664 skiable acres at Beaver Mountain. Snowboarding and tubing are also available on the mountain, although the resort has only been open to snowboarders since 1998. There is a new terrain park offering numerous tabletops.
